How do I interpret the propensity bin comparison chart?

This article discusses how to interpret the propensity bin comparison chart when running a propensity model in the G2M platform

Updated over a week ago

The propensity bin comparison chart is intended to show the difference between high- and low-propensity records for a specific independent variable. All records are binned and given a grade from A to F. Unless otherwise indicated the default grade definitions are as follows:

  • A: records with a propensity score greater than or equal to 0.8

  • B: records with a propensity score greater than or equal to 0.7 and less than 0.8

  • C: records with a propensity score greater than or equal to 0.6 and less than 0.7

  • D: records with a propensity score greater than or equal to 0.5 and less than 0.6

  • F: records with a propensity score less than 0.5
